Micheal Harvell is a seasoned maritime professional, bringing over two decades of expertise to his role as Vice President of Production – Government Programs at Eastern Shipbuilding. In January 2023, he joined the organization as the Director of Operations for the Nelson Yard, quickly proving his leadership capabilities and earning a well-deserved promotion within the same year.

With an impressive 24-year tenure at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS, Micheal’s career is marked by a diverse skill set spanning electrical craft, industrial engineering, and 13 years in management. His wealth of experience positions him as a strategic leader in the shipbuilding industry.

Micheal is an alumnus of Columbia Southern University, holding three degrees that reflect his commitment to continuous learning and professional development. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Safety and Health, a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, and a Master’s in Project Management.
