Bob Parsons joined Eastern Shipbuilding Group in February 2020 as the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Director of Purchasing. In January 2023, he advanced to Director of Supply Chain, overseeing Warehouse and Inventory operations. In April 2024, Bob was promoted to Vice President of Supply Chain, completing the Supply Chain cycle for ESG. He graduated from David Lipscomb College in Nashville, TN, and after briefly playing professional baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, he began his career as a buyer for Midland Ross. With over 40 years of experience in manufacturing supply chains, including roles at Siemens, Textron, Maytag, and Cooper Industries, Bob has 15 years of shipbuilding expertise. He is recognized for leading diverse teams and successfully managing total acquisition cost, tactical procurement, and strategic sourcing.
